About Us

So we started in September 2015 as a sole trader trading as New Leads Electrical. We then set up as a limited company in June 2018 due to the size of the company growing and the type of work growing and increasing along with out reputation and presence. We have had many happy customers with 100% positive reviews on my builder, checkatrade, facebook and google . The owner Matthew Jones originally from Leeds, moved up to New Leeds, Peterhead in 2014 working for other companies getting to know the people and the numerous dialects and frankly language. Since starting we have created great relationships with wholesalers, to give our customers the best possible price with good quality materials. Our goal for the future is to carry on providing a top quality service to all of our customers constantly aiming for 100% satisfaction but to grow naturally and steadily as a company so to keep on top of everything as things become bigger and better. We are here to stay and will be here for the long term.

Our Team

Matthew Jones

Is the owner and director of the company. Mathew along with his wife Alex have started the company together, with all of the views that the company has have come from these two. Along with how they believe a company should be for their customers.

Matthew has been in the industry from the age of 17 when he left school and went straight in to work. After completing his apprenticeship he has never stopped learning and growing, doing courses in inspection and testing 2391, management of construction and building, a course in plastering and patching, a bpec for 4kw or smaller solar panels installations, SSSTS, Electrical vehicle charging points, 18th edition bs7671, emergency lighting design / installation and maintenance and still striving for more.

As well as work Matthew is also a huge rugby league fan and did play for his local amateur team from the age of 8 to 25. He supports the Leeds rhinos and on the odd occasion can be found hitting a few balls at a golf course or driving range.

Alex Jones

As the office manager Alex has a big role in the company organising jobs, paperwork and materials. making everything we do, possible and running on time keeping all of our customers informed and happy. Also making it possible for the electricians to be out completing the work without having to worry about filling in the paperwork and organising the diary. Essentially the cog that makes everything else work together.

Scott godsman

Is the longest serving electrician after Matthew and is a highly skilled, polite and professional electrician. He has a growing passion to provide a top service for all of our customers and is pushing forward to increase his ever growing knowledge and experience with all the different aspects that we undertake.
Scotts tool addiction is truly astonishing and a marvel to see. his desire to push to be the best is what makes scott stand out from the crowd.

Gary Taylor

Is a very determined adult apprentice, he decided to become an electrician a little later than some, but through his experience in other areas of work he has a great sound knowledge of methods of work, health and safety, quality of work and how things work. His understanding is well above others in his position and level of training and makes a huge contribution to the high level of service that is provided from New Leads Electrical as a team.
